Make the most of your day with us
Your guide will pick you up from anywhere on the peninsula, or if you prefer, your choice of Ipswich railway station, Manningtree railway station, the Oyster Reach car park or Shotley Marina ferry from Harwich/Felixstowe when it is running.
Depending on where we pick up, or what your preferences are, we will start the tour, during which we will stop for refreshments and/or lunch as desired.
Usually that means we will take a guided tour through the villages of Tattingstone, Freston, Holbrook, Stutton, Harkstead and Erwarton, before arriving at Shotley Marina where we will visit Ganges Museum. We will also make our way to Shotley church to visit the World War One and WW2 Commonwealth war graves.
Visit Chelmondiston and Pin Mill and see what inspired author's such as Arthur Ransome and discuss its royal and celebrity connections.
Complete tour and aim to drop off at chosen end points.
This is a basic idea of what the tour involves. Other places of interest will be shown and discussed along the way.
We are flexible and will cater the tour to what interests you most.
